Summer

So over the last few days I have started to plan what I will be doing this next summer--never a good thing. I decided it was time to start prepping for law school. That's right, I want to be a lawyer...I think. I am very intersted in studying Human Rights Law, with an International emphasis. Who knows at what point this would happen in my life--maybe the fall of 2010, maybe not. However, I am going to take the LSATs in June, so I need to get studying.

In other news, I have been trying to figure out what I will do with the rest of my summer. I have thought about going back to Uganda and teaching either street kids or former child soldiers. But I also really, really want to work in the Middle East or Central Asia. Afghanistan, Egypt and Pakistan all sound like they have potential.

Oddly enough, while doing some research, I came upon Global Expeditions website. That is the organization I went to Botswana with for 2 months when I was 16. Ironically, when I clicked the link to view their trip to Uganda, I was startled to see this picture: http://www.globalexpeditions.com/projects.php?ProjectName=Uganda

Yep, it's me. That 16 year old me in Botswana, advertising for a trip to Uganda. I thought it was weird that of all the pictures Global Expeditions have and all the places they could have put it, the stuck it on the Uganda page. Even more crazy is the fact that I found it. So weird.

If anyone has any ideas of where I should go or what I should do, please let me know.

Regards,

B
