I promised myself I would be consistent with this blog and I have failed. I have a plethora of excuses but they are just that--excuses. For those of you with grace aplenty, please forgive me and allow me to update you on my life.
By the grace of God I completed institute. I still my children in Room 208 and can only pray that the Lord watches over them as they grow. After leaving Texas, I returned to South Dakota for more training. After this week of debrief, I made that 17 hour journey back to Bigfork, Montana.
Being home was lovely. I am very close with my family and it was wonderful to spend time with my parents again. My sisters were not home as D lives in California and B in Michigan. However, B did come home for a bit and it was great to see her. Perhaps the highlight of my time at home was picking juicy huckleberries in the woods. It brought back fond memories and we had a real good time. I also saw my three best friends again and we all went wakeboarding--a blast.
During my stay at home, I also worked a bit cleaning houses to supplement the income--or lack their of. But mostly, I tried to complete an online course that was required by TFA.
The last week was filled with packing and goodbyes as I moved my life to Kyle, South Dakota--located in the dead center of Pine Ridge Rez.
