Hoki Shadrach the First died within 12 hours of me giving him to Maria Rapha. To be honest, I think it began its death after hour 1, but tenaciously fought for life. By morning, he was dead.
What was I thinking agreeing to get her a fish? I might as well have flushed cash down the toilet.
