My Cup Runneth Over

Today, I ran to the post office in search of some posters of world changers I was expecting in the mail to adorn my classroom. (Side note--school was canceled today and the walkers sent home because the cafeteria wasn't serving lunch). When I got to the post office, I found not my posters but five very full boxes. Surprised, I hauled them back to my classroom, with the help of two gentleman callers. As I cut them open, I squealed with delight to find them filled with the most wonderful school supplies a teacher could wish for. (See the pictures). I was delighted to find coveted white boards, pencils, paper, scissors, tape, markers, erasers, crayons, folders, glue sticks, rulers, stapler, etc. I also got a perfect globe from mamma mia and daddy as well as two so-needed books for my younger readers.

What touched me most about these gifts was the givers. Part was from a group of poor college students--two of which of I have never met and one who I have seen for a total of five minutes. Yet these kids have chosen to give of themselves in the hope that my babies will be blessed. And as for my parents, do they ever stop giving? Doubtful.

So, in short, my cup runneth over as the Lord continues to provide. Thank all of you so much.
