I am currently about to embark on one of the craziest actions of my life. Room 170 is hosting a Ruby Bridges Night. That means I will have over a dozen wired children in my care from 6:00pm to 8:00am. I am more than a little nervous about what will unfolded in the hours to come. Right now, I pray that God grants me wisdom and courage as I deal with several sugar-wired children.
Join me in praying!
Father, please grant the children peace as they sleep in a foreign environment. Open their ears and their hearts as we talk about racism and its evils. I pray that lives will be changed as a result of this night.
